Chartered in May 1953, the Rotary Club of Bal Harbour, Florida, lists business and professional leaders dedicated to carrying out the Rotary International vision of “Service Above Self”.  The club is a representative sample of professional and business life of our town. All Rotary clubs worldwide meet weekly and are nonpolitical nonsectarian and open to all cultures, races and creeds.

Rotarians are men and women belonging to a Rotary Club dependent on which we perform with a service internally promoting friendship and fellowship and acting externally towards the improvements of quality of life in our community and throughout the world. Our responsibility and commitment to society is growing every day, we must be attentive to their needs and try to reverse the causes that motivate them.

Our Community Service focus on activities in the areas of Education  of the Ruth K. Broad Bay Harbor K-8 Center  supporting the Police Athletic League (PAL) program, participating on the annual Bay Harbor 5/10K Run, the Island Beach Bash event, the Kite Festival at Haulover Park, the annual award to the Police Officer of the year for the Village of Bal Harbour and the Township of Bay Harbor, Surfside  and Indian Creek Village Police Department as well as the award to the best Teacher of the Year of our local school and also to the local businessman who has performed an outstanding dedicated service to the people in this community.
